is a free online resource where you can find or discard items. It demonstrates the idea that
one person’s trash is another’s treasure. Simply log onto the SonoMax web site and create a
wanted or available listing. You can find everything from packaging peanuts to pallets. Listings are
available by visiting www.SonoMax.org.
SonoMax is a local version of the statewide program CALMAX. |

containers can be recycled at special events provided they have been
triple rinsed, labels and caps have been removed, and they have been punctured.

Sonoma County is part of the
California Integrated Waste Management Board’s Recycling Market Development Zone (RMDZ)
Program. New or existing businesses in the county who use recycled materials as a feed stock for
manufacturing, or who process recycled materials to increase their value as a feed stock for
other manufacturers, may qualify for low-interest loans and other business assistance through the
RMDZ program.
The goal of the program is to keep materials out of the landfill while building local economies. |
