Curbside Motor Oil & Filter Recycling

Curbside motor oil & filter recycling is available in the following areas:

Cloverdale
Cotati
Healdsburg
Petaluma
Rohnert Park
Santa Rosa
Sebastopol
Sonoma
Windsor
Unincorporated area

Recycle you motor oil and filters at the curb. If you are a do-it-yourselfer, search for a motor oil/filter drop-off locations near you.

No additional cost.

To sign up, call your garbage company. You will be provided with a free oil recycling kit. There is no additional cost to use this service.

  1. Change your oil & drain your filter. Recycle your empty plastic quart-sized motor oil containers at the curb after it has drained for 48 hours.
  2. Transfer oil to provided oil recycling container.
  3. Place oil filter in provided bag.
  4. Call your garbage company to schedule a curbside pick-up.
  5. Place oil and filter in their proper containers at the curb for your scheduled pick-up.
